Provides overall management of daily business operations, establishes
company objectives, interfaces with clients, and provides management
and technical support of projects. Mr. Evans has over 32 years
experience as an engineer to Department of Energy contractors and
electrical utilities. This includes managing and supporting projects
involving analyses of radioactive waste, identifying methodologies
to immobilize and process TRU waste, validating project costs for
certification to regulatory standards, planning facility modifications,
evaluating decontamination methodologies, developing methods of
decommissioning and cost schedules, providing oversight to selected
nuclear plant systems, training nuclear personnel on design and
procurement procedures, providing licensing and regulatory support,
and evaluating nuclear plant fire protection systems.
Mr. Evans has an MS in Nuclear Engineering and a BS in Nuclear/Chemical
Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Executive Vice President

Coordinates the corporate office operations of GEM Technologies,
Inc. Ms. Evans has responsibility for oversight of the daily operations
and activities of the administrative office staff, the Human Resources
Department, and the Finance Department. For Human Resources, she
oversees hiring, obtaining required training for employees, and
employee benefits. Ms. Evans also provides oversight of GEM contracts,
customer invoices, and billing. Ms. Evans coordinates the submittal
of documentation and the follow-up of security clearances, for
GEM employees whose job may require a clearance, and badging activities
required for working at governmental facilities.
Ms. Evans has a BS in Nursing from the University of Tennessee.

Chief Operating Officer

Provides oversight and management of GEM construction, demolition,
design build projects and engineering and technical projects. Mr.
Thomas has over 30 years experience in mechanical engineering and
engineering management. Professional experience includes nuclear
reactor startup and testing, heat transfer research and development,
management of well over 1M square feet of industrial and office
space construction in new and retrofit projects.
Mr. Thomas has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from
Auburn University and is a registered Professional Engineer in
the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Chief Financial Officer

Directs
the financial affairs of the company, prepares financial analysis
of operations, including interim and final financial statements
with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Ben
is also responsible for the company’s financial plans, annual
financial statement audit, tax compliance, periodic DCAA audits,
accounting policies, cash flow, supervision of accounting and human
resource staff, and relationship with the company’s bank
and surety.
Mr. Jerrell has over 14 years of accounting experience, a BA in
Accounting and Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico
University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered
in the State of Tennessee.

Vice President of Business Development

Responsible
for business development and marketing for the Construction, Engineering & Technical
Services, and Environmental Services Divisions of GEM Technologies,
Inc. Mr. Macon has over 17 years of diversified experience in project
and line management, marketing, engineering, and business development
for clients including the Department of Energy and its major subcontractors.
He has experience serving as Project Manager for deactivation,
construction, demolition, remediation, and federal facility line
item and general plant projects.
Mr. Macon has an MS and BS in Civil Engineering from Tennessee
Technological University.

Manager of Bids, Proposals, and Contracts

Manages and coordinates preparation of GEM’s bids and proposals
for engineering, construction, and demolition projects. Also
oversees corporate records management, including contracts and
teaming agreements. Ms. Mitchell has over 30 years of engineering
experience, primarily in the field of radioactive waste management. Her
experience includes line management, project management, business
development, technology development, and design engineering. Her
projects have included design of retrieval/treatment facilities
for Fernald Silos waste, development of ceramic melter and in
situ vitrification processes for Hanford high-level and hazardous
wastes, support to DOE for international waste programs, fabrication
of advanced reactor fuels, and preparation of numerous technical
publications and proposals.
Ms. Mitchell graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree
in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois.
